Center for Humanity

The Center of Humanity will take the form of 7 places of worship during the 7 days of the week:
·Sunday – The Church
·Monday – The Hindu Temple
·Tuesday – The Jain Temple
·Wednesday – The Buddhist Monastery / Taoist Temple
·Thursday – The Gurudwara of the Sikhs
·Friday – The Mosque of the Muslims
·Saturday – The Jewish Synagogue

Technology will be used to create the desired effect each day.

The visible differences will be a celebration of one of the qualities of the Self – creativity. How the same essence can be expressed in so many diverse and creative ways will be a wonder to behold.

The Centre of Humanity is being envisioned in the MaNaN Ashram of Tej Gyan Foundation located at Pune.  The land for the Center of Humanity has been acquired. It shall be built in 2012–2013 based on financial help received from donors.

The vision for the Center of Humanity has been provided by Sirshree, founder of Tej Gyan Foundation.

Often religion is seen to cause some major conflict. Every religion in the world talks of God – either in the form or the formless state. God may be referred to as Lord, Spirit, Allah, Shiva, The Almighty, the Creator, Consciousness, Self or Totality – it’s one and the same. The augment of every religion has been through a self realized soul. All customs practiced in every religion are intended to remind us of our true religion. And what is religion? Religion actually means our true nature. And our true nature is the unlimited Self, the Consciousness. Customs, rituals and festivals are mere representative parcels. The message contained in the parcel, i.e. we are the Self, is more significant. With time, however the parcels have become more central and the message is lost. People who aspire to “convert” more and more people to maximize their numbers haven’t yet realized that there is only one religion – the Self. All humanity (in fact everything) is nothing but the Self. When we realize our true self (self-realization) and then operate from the self, that is when we are following our religion.
Speaking in the conventional sense of the word ‘religion’, when we adopt our religion not just based on our birth but actually understand it, imbibe it and live according to it, then we are adhering to our religion. When we evolve into Christ Consciousness, we are then a Christian. We cannot be a true Brahmin unless the Brahman (universal consciousness) manifests in us. Thus, anyone from any religion or cast, high or low, can be a Brahmin as well. Furthermore a true Christian is no different than a true Brahmin or a true Muslim. Islam by definition means surrender and submission to the Only Creator. Thus, anyone who surrenders to God is a Muslim – even if he is born to Hindu parents. Discriminating on the pretext of religion or caste shows the extent to which man can decline into ignorance. It is even more ignorant to use force or greed, in an attempt to convert somebody from one religion to another.
Conflict on religion and all religious issues will come to an end with the understanding that it is the same God, same universal oneness, that is being referred to in all religions. This universal consciousness cannot be explained, it can only be experienced. The ‘understanding’ of how this can be made possible is the only thing the world requires. The Centre For Humanity will help in experientially knowing this universal consciousness and help in stabilizing in it.
